Hostellerie Mont Kemmel **** is a magnificent hotel / restaurant with meeting rooms and party rooms, with an impressive panorama situated in a quiet natural park and protected landscape on the top of the Kemmelberg (Kemmel/Dranouter, Heuvelland near Ypres). This authentic country house was built in 1954 by Baron Jacques Bruneel de la Warande and is run as a family mountain hotel. It is situated only 10 minutes from the centre of the historical city of Ypres ("In Flanders Fields" Museum, Menin Gate, Vauban fortifications, Bellewaerde, ...) and about 25 km from Lille (France). It is a well known stop-over place for those who drive to the South of France or via "EuroTunnel" - "The Chunnel" to the United Kingdom.

The hotel has a gourmet restaurant (listed in the Gault & Millau and Michelin guides) and serves fine, seasonal French cuisine with contemporary touches. Hostellerie Mont Kemmel **** organises your banquets (wedding, communion, ...), club meetings, company meetings (seminars, product presentations, ...), and so on. There are various party rooms and meeting rooms.
The hotel has 23 rooms, each with its own bath and/or shower, minibar, WiFi, bathrobes/slippers, etc. . There are both ECO(logical) rooms of 15 m² available as large luxury junior suites with separate rain showers and modern jacuzzis up to more than 50m².
Our hotel, restaurant, meeting rooms and party rooms have already received several awards thanks to its dynamic team: an "Award of Excellence 2020" from Booking.com (8.7/10) and a "2020 Travellers' Choice" from Trip Advisor (HMK is in the top 25 of small hotels in Belgium). Hostellerie Mont Kemmel **** complies with the four-star standard (HOTREC standard).
On 28 April 2015 she also received the international quality mark "The Green Key"and on 22 June 2015 the quality label Q-label ("Quality Service" label) from Westtoer. The latter was renewed at the beginning of June 2018 for another 3 years: 2018-2019-2020.
