Hostellerie Mont Kemmel **** is a magnificent panoramic hotel located in the peaceful natural park at the top of Mount Kemmel. This authentic country house was founded in 1954 by "Baron" (actually Jonkheer) Jacques Bruneel de la Warande and is run as a family mountain hotel. It is located barely 10 minutes from the center of the historic city of Ypres ( In Flanders Fields Museum, Menin Gate, Vauban fortifications, ...) and a well-known stop-over place for those driving to the South of France or via "The Chunnel". The Flemish cultural cities of Bruges, Lille and Ghent can easily be visited! The hotel features a gourmet restaurant and serves fine, seasonal French cuisine with contemporary touches. Guests can enjoy a cocktail or other drinks in the more informal bar, lounge or on the sheltered terraces. All of these spaces have unforgettable views of the Franco-Flemish plain.
